U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. David Long is a flightline maintenance technician at Holloman AFB, NM as part of the 49th Maintenance Group. He developed a passion for photography at a young age and has really grown to be a stellar artist in the field. Long was enrolled in the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program where he took his passion to capture images of his fellow wounded warriors. They recognized the talent and started bringing him out to help capture the stories at competitive events like the Department of Defense Warrior Games. Here he can be seen in his element, working behind the lens to tell the story of competition at the 2018 Invictus Games in Sydney. His talent and perseverance have proven invaluable as the competition plays out this week. The Invictus Games is a Paralympic-style competition featuring 500 athletes from 18 nations, running through Saturday, October 27th. (U.S. Air Force photo by Shawn Sprayberry)
