“Day one I didn’t have a lot of confidence and I was frightened about everything. During the rappel tower… as I was staring down at the bottom “what if I don’t make it, what if something happens” kept crossing my mind. At the end of the day, there was a reason why I came here; there was a reason why I joined, so I can overcome those fears. As I reached the bottom of the tower it felt good to know that I was able to push myself, face fear and basically overcome it at any moment.”
