A Marine enrolled in the Scout Sniper Basic Course carefully places vegetation on his ghillie suit to help him blend in with his surroundings as he prepares to begin a stalk exercise, Oct. 15, at Camp Barrett. Throughout the course, Marines will be graded on 15 separate stalks and have to maintain a 70 percent average, including two perfect stalks, to pass the course.
