Gosport Park, located just a few blocks from Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia, contains a few static displays with historical significance to the US Navy. Among them is the sail from the USS Thomas Jefferson (SSBN-618), an Ethan Allen class nuclear powered submarine that was commissioned in 1963 and decommissioned in 1985. Other static pieces include several naval gun turrets, a gazebo, and two propellers. The park is open to the public, and is located behind the Portsmouth Judicial Center in Portsmouth, Virginia.
