(Oct. 29, 2018) An explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technician assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group (EODGRU) 2 serves as ground safety officer during helicopter rope suspension technique training with an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the “Chargers” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 26. EODGRU 2, headquartered at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, oversees Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 2 as well as all East Coast-based Navy EOD mobile units.
