Chief Warrant Officer of the Adjutant General Corps, Chief Warrant Officer 5 Coral Jones, visits Third Army/ARCENT headquarters Nov. 4. During her visit Jones met with Third Army/ARCENT Soldiers and finance employees to ensure they are meeting the needs of Army personnel stationed at Shaw. The Fort Jackson, S.C. finance office augmented two of its employees to work at Patton Hall, eliminating the need for soldiers to travel to Fort Jackson for pay inquiries and other finance assistance. Jones, a Barbados native, is the first African-American female chief warrant officer five within the active Army Adjutant General Corps.
