John Chapman, after completing a military free fall during the U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. John Chapman Medal of Honor celebration at Hurlburt Field, Florida, Oct. 26, 2018. Special Tactics operators and SERE specialists performed a high-altitude, low-opening jump from an MC-130J Commando II with batons honoring Chapman for his heroic actions during the Battle of Takur Ghar in March 2002 while deployed to Afghanistan.
