SAN DIEGO (Oct. 31, 2018) Four U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt IIs from the 354th Fighter Squadron “Bulldogs” taxi Naval Air Station North Island during Phoenix Fire 2018. The “Bulldogs” supported Phoenix Fire from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., amplifying this small-scale littoral combat exercise. Phoenix Fire was conducted in Southern California by Helicopter Sea Combat Weapons School Pacific to enhance combat readiness through robust, realistic training while providing joint and combined partners the ability to work with multiple assets in a maritime and littoral environment.
