Edward Doherty, a 20-year-old native of Weymouth, Mass., and infantryman with Charlie Company, 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, cuts a piece of cake from the 236th Marine Corps birthday here, Nov. 10. Col. Roger Turner, Regimental Combat Team 5 commanding officer, and Sgt. Maj. Ernest Hoopii, RCT-5 sergeant major, delivered a birthday cake to the Marines and sailors of Charlie Company and participated in their traditional birthday ceremony.
