Personnel and equipment prepare for departure from Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Oct. 31, 2018, in support of Operation Faithful Patriot. As directed by the Department of Defense through Army headquarters, the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell are deploying Soldiers, equipment and resources to assist Department of Homeland Security along the southwest border. Military personnel will provide a range of support including planning assistance, engineering support, and logistics and transportation support.
