Soldiers from 1st Battalion 151st Infantry Regiment joined with 25th Infantry Division for their rotation at the Joint Readiness Training Center, or JRTC, at Fort Polk, Louisiana. During the exercise, the soldiers simulate a high intensity combat scenario where they secure objectives and practice battle drills. The extra level of stress added by being in "the box" (the live fire exercise area) helps soldiers experience training that feels like real combat.
