A 12th Combat Aviation Brigade Chinook crewmember prefights his aircraft at the flight line near Rena Norway on Oct. 27, 2018. The units are part of NATO’s Very High Readiness Joint Task Force, which is exercising in Norway as part of Trident Juncture 2018. NATO and Norway are having the largest military exercises ever held in the country. During October and November, around 50,000 participants from NATO and its partners are in Norway for exercise Trident Juncture 2018. The exercise tests the military chain from troop training at the tactical level, to command over large forces.
