The Treasure Valley honors veterans in the past, present and future during the annual Veterans Day parade held on Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Idaho State Capital building. The theme for the 2018 parade was “Special Salute to World War I Veterans - the war that changed the world.” The grand marshal for the event was Earl Lewis Hurt. Hurt was born in Eagle, Idaho, deployed to France in 1917, and passed away in Boise in 1972. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Master Sgt. Becky Vanshur)
