The two Midwestern National Guard generals were the Czechs’ invited guests during the Oct. 27-28 celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia in October 1918. This also marks the 25th anniversary of the founding of the State Partnership Program relationship between the two Midwestern National Guard organizations and the Czech Republic, to this day the only SPP involving two state National Guard organizations and a single nation.
