UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (Nov. 3, 2018) A Marine assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 13, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), listens to a radio while conducting sustainment training. Marines and Sailors assigned to the USS Essex Amphibious Ready Group and the 13th MEU are participating in a United States Naval Forces Central Command annual bilateral engagement designed to increase interoperability with the United Arab Emirates and enhance capabilities in critical mission sets inherent to the U.S. Navy-Marine Corps team.
