181106-N-RM440-1200 ARABIAN GULF (Nov. 6, 2018) The guided-missile destroyer USS Decatur (DDG 73), left, a Qatari Emiri Naval Forces ship, center, and U.S. Coast Guard Island-class patrol cutter USCGC Monomoy (WPB 1326) transit the Arabian gulf during exercise Eastern Sailor 19. The U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard are participating in Eastern Sailor 19, an annual, bilateral surface exercise with the Qatari Emiri Naval Forces that allows both countries to strengthen tactical proficiency in critical mission areas and continue to support regional maritime security.
