Eleven members of the West Virginia and New England National Guard Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and High Yield Explosive (CBRNE) Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP) groups are deployed for a hasty decontamination scenario secondary to the main CERFP scenario during a Vigilant Guard Massachusetts exercise at Joint Base Cape Cod Nov. 6, 2018. Vigilant Guard is an exercise sponsored by U.S. Northern Command in conjunction with the National Guard Bureau, that provides an opportunity for local, state, and federal agencies, National Guard units, and private sector partners to improve emergency response plans, inter-agency relationships, and interoperability.
