ATLANTIC OCEAN (Nov. 7, 2018) Aviation Ordnanceman 1st Class Rickey Cull loads sonar buoys into an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter from the ‘Grandmasters’ of Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 46 during flight operations aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Bainbridge (DDG 96). USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) carrier strike group (CSG) cruiser-destroyer (CRUDES) units are conducting the first East Coast CRUDES Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT) training event. SWATT is a training exercise led by the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SWMDC) to improve the Fleet’s lethality, capability and readiness.
