U.S. Marine with 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment demonstrates a mechanical advantage control hold (MACH) technique during an OC spray course at Værnes Air Station, Norway, Nov. 2, 2018. The course was held to provide Marines and sailors with the experience of being pepper sprayed and forced to complete various physically demanding tasks while in pain and under pressure.
