181102-N-OH861-1021 SAN CLEMENTE ISLAND, Calif. (Nov. 4, 2018) Equipment Operator 3rd Class Dustin Greenawalt, and Equipment Operator Constructionman Thomas Jung, both assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, Det. San Clemente Island, operate a backhoe and an excavator to dig out a dirt lot for an aerial target drone launch site project. NMCB-3 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and United States ready to support major combat operations, theater security, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
