Marines with Headquarters and Service Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, present a U.S. flag during Maj. Gen. Lawrence H. Livingston’s funeral service at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, following a funeral ceremony for Nov. 5. Livingston was a highly decorated combat veteran, receiving the Navy Cross for his heroic actions during the Vietnam War, as well as the Silver Star, two Legions of Merit, four Bronze Stars and five Purple Hearts.
