OAK HARBOR, Wash. (April 2, 2018) A P-8A Poseidon aircraft, assigned to Patrol Squadron (VP) 4, taxis onboard Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Wash., en route to a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations. VP-4 is a maritime patrol squadron assigned to Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing 10 and this occasion marks the squadrons first P-8A deployment following VP-4's platform change from the P-3C Orion aircraft.
