    196th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment

    The drop zone marker honoring Chief Warrant Officer 3 (Maj.) H. Roger Mills, a former commander of Company B, 2nd Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne) who died of injuries suffered during a static line airborne operation Oct. 24, 2010, was officially dedicated to Mills during a ceremony Oct. 16, at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base in Columbus, Ohio. The stone reads, “H.R. Mills DZ. Dedicated in memory of CW3 Herbert Roger Mills, Jr. 23 May 1951-24 OCT 2010.”
