The Hampton Roads Naval Museum proudly hosted a re-enlistment ceremony this afternoon aboard the USS Wisconsin (BB 64). OSC Brian Spear, from Center for Surface Combat Systems Detachment East-Norfolk, proudly held up his right hand and re-enlisted in front of members of his command and his family. The re-enlistment ceremony took place in-front of the iconic turret #1. The Wisconsin is one of four Iowa-Class Battleships, and is moored permanently next to the Hampton Roads Naval Museum as a museum ship. The Wisconsin is a popular venue for military ceremonies for commands in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area; and is available without cost through the museum for this purpose.
