U.S. Air Force Capt. Bryant Davis views the city of Wales, Alaska, the westernmost city on mainland North America, from a C-12F Huron upon departing the Long Range Radar Site (LRRS) at Tin City, Alaska. Tin City LRRS, along with 14 additional radar sites across Alaska, scans the airspace 24 hours a day, seven days a week, searching for possible threats. The radar sites are operated by the Pacific Air Forces Regional Support Center at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. (DoD photo by Senior Chief Petty Officer Brandon Raile)
