181119-N-TP832-1288 OKINAWA, Japan (Nov. 19, 2018) Steelworker Constructionman Recruit Taylor Covington, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, supports a ladder while Seabees pour concrete into wall forms during a project to build a k-span structure that will house civil engineering support equipment onboard Camp Shields in Okinawa, Japan. NMCB-3 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and United States ready to support major combat operations, theater security, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
