Kosovo Force (KFOR) Soldiers participate in a transfer of authority ceremony at Camp Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny, Kosovo, Nov. 15, 2018. During the ceremony 1-89 CAV commander Lt. Col. Kevin R. Kilbride, assumes responsibility as the forward command post (FCP) commander. The FCP is comprised of a multinational force to include the Polish Contingent and Turkish Contingent. During the deployment, Soldiers from 1-89th CAV, will be working alongside Soldiers from Poland and Turkey to ensure a safe and secure environment in Kosovo.
