U.S. Marines with III Marine Expeditionary Force (III MEF) and the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) stand at parade rest while participating in repatriation ceremony for unknown U.S. service members lost during the Battle of Tarawa in WWII, Republic of Kiribati, Nov. 20, 2018. The ceremony was held during the 75th anniversary of the battle, where III MEF participated in an educational tour of the battle site.
