Georgian soldiers of 1st Platoon, Bravo Company, 22nd Light Infantry Battalion conduct crowd control during a mission rehearsal exercise (MRE) at the U.S. Army’s Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany, Aug. 21, 2018. The MRE is a U.S. Marine Corps led exercise involving over 900 service members from Georgia, Hungary and the U.S. MRE is also based on the current operational environment incorporating lessons learned in order to prepare the 22nd Georgian Light Infantry Battalion for offensive and defensive operations, and a deployment in support of Operation Freedom Sentinel.
