Sgt. Ruben Troyer, senior horse trainer, Caisson platoon, 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), gives Rambler, a Caisson horse, a reaffirming pat on the head after a successful training session at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Va., earlier this month. As part of the training, Troyer ensures each horse is able to respect, trust and have confidence in his rider. The Old Guard Caisson platoon is the only platoon of its kind in the Army, laying to rest our nation's heroes in Arlington National Cemetery, Va.
