An M81 igniter is ready to remotely-detonate M112 demolition charges on unexploded ordnance from a safe distance in southwest Asia, Nov. 17, 2018. ISIS uses explosives as part of their terrorist tactics and have planted many in their previously-occupied territories. EOD technicians dispose unexploded ordnance to prevent injury to civilians and military personnel. Continued assistance to partner forces is essential to setting conditions for regional stability.
