Coast Guard Cutter Munro (WMSL 755) underway from the shipyards in Pascagoula, Mississippi, in 2016. The Munro is the sixth Legend-class cutter of the U.S. Coast Guard. Munro is the second cutter named for Signalman 1st Class Douglas A. Munro (1919 – 1942), the only Coast Guardsman to be awarded the Medal of Honor. Munro is homeported in Alameda, California.
