The unit flag of the 143rd Military Police Battalion, California Army National Guard, is unfurled Nov. 17 during an activation ceremony for the 49th Military Police Brigade’s newest unit. The 143rd will conduct operations with three MP companies and a chemical unit at its Lancaster, California, readiness center. Commanding the 143rd will be Lt.
