U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Jorge Aburtocuriel, a mortarman with Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment practices required skills during exercise Fuji Viper 19.2, on Camp Fuji, Japan, on Nov. 29, 2018. This is the first time in 13 years that 2/23 is active and deployed to the Indo-Pacific region.
