Dwight Richins retired from the Idaho Army National Guard in 2012 and inspired his son to serve in the Idaho Army National Guard and to become a high school football coach. Tyler Richins won his first state title as a coach Nov. 17. Dwight Richins coached his teams to five state titles, including one in 1999 when Tyler Richins was his quarterback.
