PORT GENTIL, Gabon (Nov. 22, 2018) Sailors assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1 line up to be served Thanksgiving dinner while deployed overseas. NMCB-1 is in Gabon to construct a Maritime Operations Center (MOC) at the Gabonese Navy Base. The MOC construction is in support of exercise Obangame Express scheduled for March 2019. NMCB-1 is forward deployed to execute construction, humanitarian and foreign assistance, and theater security cooperation in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Navy photo by Lt. j.g.
