CBP Deputy Commissioner Robert Perez visited the San Ysidro Port of Entry and went on a ride along with Border Patrol on Tuesday. During his visit, the Deputy Commissioner was briefed on port hardening operations and the reinforcements along the border wall. Other CBP participants included San Diego Field Office Director of Field Operations Pete Flores, San Diego Sector Chief Patrol Agent Rodney Scott, San Diego Air and Marine Operations Director Hunter Davis, San Ysidro Port Director Sidney Aki, Executive Director Southwest Region Air and Marine Operations Keith Jones.
