Congressman Brian Higgins (NY-26) joined the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Buffalo District at the Buffalo Outer Harbor, December 3, 2018, to announce $12.455 million in federal funding to the Army Corps in 2019 for improvements to the Buffalo Harbor. “Funding ensures safe and reliable navigation in the harbor that can directly relate to economic growth, quality of life, and its environmental health, " said LTC Jason Toth, Buffalo District Commander.

North Breakwater Repair - $6,100,000
South Breakwater Repair - $3,500,000
Confined Disposal Facility #4 - $1,500,000
Dredging - $1,350,000
Environmental Compliance Management - $5,000
