A vessel is engulfed in flames and producing a large plume of thick black smoke on open water, likely in a harbor or bay surrounded by forested hills. The image is taken from the deck of a nearby response or rescue vessel, where two crew members are observing the burning ship. The scene indicates an active maritime emergency with the fire concentrated amidships on the burning vessel.
