U.S. Coast Guard members reunited with crew members from the fishing vessel Aaron & Melissa II at an event spotlighting commercial vessel safety, Friday, December 7, 2018, at Coast Guard Sector Northern New England in Portland, Maine. All four crew members aboard the fishing vessel were rescued November 14, 2018 by the aircrew of Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod (pictured, left), after abandoning ship and activating an emergency position-indicating radio beacon amid thirty-knot winds and twenty-foot seas approximately 60 miles off the coast of Rockland, Maine.
