181202-N-IB739-1001 ATSUGI, Japan (Dec. 2, 2018) Builder 2nd Class Eric Krainger and Steelworker 3rd Class Aubrey Spiller, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, Det. Atsugi, take measurements for the excavation of a pre-engineered building (PEB) project site. The PEB is being built as a shade shelter for welders to be able to accomplish their work more efficiently for other projects. NMCB-3 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and United States ready to support major combat operations, theater security, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
