Command Sergeant Major Robert Abernethy talks with and makes on the spot uniform
corrections to Honor Cordon Soldiers assigned to the 529th Military Police Company, Wiesbaden, Germany.
Abernethy and U.S. Army Europe Commander, Lt. Gen. Christopher Cavoli welcome Maj. Gen.
Valdemaras Rupšys, Lithuanian Land Force commander, to U.S. Army Europe
headquarters with an honor cordon.
Rupšys and Sgt. Maj. Remigijus Katinas, Lithuanian Land Force sergeant major,
traveled to Wiesbaden, Germany, to speak with Cavoli about cooperation
opportunities between the U.S. and Lithuania. The visit also recognized the
ongoing partnership and past accomplishments between the two armies.
The 529th Military Police Company provided the honor cordon and the color
guard was made up of Soldiers from U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden. The U.S. Army
Europe Band played the Lithuanian and U.S. national anthems.
