    Navy Expeditionary Combat Command

    Crew members aboard Riverine Command Boat 803 assigned to Riverine Squadron 1 man their positions as gunners under close scrutiny of command training team members while conducting patrol and interdiction operations. The crew will conduct several training scenarios this week off the coast of Newport News, Va. Navy Expeditionary Combat Command units Maritime Security Squadron 4 and Riverine Squadron 1 are participating in an NECC integrated exercise as part of their pre-deployment certification process. The week-long exercise consists of land-based and waterborne scenarios that test the unit's ability to respond to various threats in a realistic training environment.
