NORFOLK, Va. (Dec. 15, 2018) - Children wait for Sailors assigned to the “Dragon Slayers” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 11 to return from deployment in MH-60S Sea Hawk Helicopters at Naval Station Norfolk. HSC-11 departed with Carrier Air Wing 1, Apr. 11, 2018 as part of the ongoing rotation of forward deployed forces supporting maritime security operations in international waters across the globe as part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group (HSTCSG). HSTCSG was the first to participate in Dynamic Fleet Employment (DFE), an initiative allows the Navy to be both strategically predictable to our allies, while remaining operationally unpredictable to our adversaries.
