A Combined Joint Task Force (CJTF-OIR) convoy passes through downtown Al Qaim, Iraq, Dec. 5, 2018. This area was once occupied by ISIS who have been pushed into the Middle Euphrates River Valley in Syria where the Syrian Democratic Forces are fighting to clear the last remaining pockets of ISIS. The Coalition and the Iraqi Security Forces remain united in a long-term, whole-of-government and international effort to set conditions for stabilization activities and humanitarian assistance.
