U.S. Airmen assigned to the 75th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron prepare a C-130J Hercules at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, for a personnel recovery training exercise at the Grand Bara desert, Dec. 6, 2018. The 75th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron supports Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) with medical evacuations, disaster relief, humanitarian and airdrop operations. CJTF-HOA is a multinational effort to conduct security cooperation, combat violent extremism and enable freedom of movement within East Africa in order to defend U.S. interests and support aligned regional efforts.
