French Caesar self-propelled Howitzers fire in support of the offensive against ISIS in the Middle Euphrates River Valley, from Firebase Saham, Iraq, Dec. 5, 2018. Iraqi, French and U.S. artillery are supporting the Syrian Democratic Forces and Iraqi Security Forces as they clear the last remaining pockets of ISIS from the Middle Euphrates River Valley and prevent them from fleeing into Iraq.
