Newly promoted Staff Sgt. Crystal Jones of the 1st Sustainment Command (Theater), or 1st Theater Sustainment Command, is glad that her family could share her promotion with her, even if they were thousands of miles away. Jones, a Woodbridge, Va., native is deployed to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, in support of U.S. Army Central in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Her husband Marcus, 9 year-old Marcus II, Nathan, 7, and Zachary, 4, watched the ceremony by video conference from Fort Bragg, N.C.
