The Coast Guard Cutter Munro (WMSL 755) moored up in Honiara on Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands, Nov. 26, 2018. while in Honiara the crew of the Munro held a rededication ceremony at the memorial of the cutter's namesake Signalman 1st Class Douglas Munro who gave his life during the Guadalcanal Campaign during World War II.
