NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Dec. 3, 2018) Capt. John J. Cummings, USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) commanding officer, briefs Sen. James Inhofe, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, and James Geurts, Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development, and Acquisition, in the commanding officer’s in port cabin during a tour of the ship.
